Our mission is to educate and empower the next generation of North
American Konkanis through cultural, political, and social awareness.
We seek to strengthen community bonds through forging new
relationships and fostering and strengthening existing ones. We
aspire to instill Konkani values and make Konkani culture, food, and
language accessible for the next generation in the North American
Konkani diaspora.
Our pledge to each and every one of you that attends the convention are as follows:
- Build on the positive elements of past conventions
- Focus on breaking down the barriers that the youth sometimes unknowingly create
- Strive to ensure that every attendee meets one another at the convention
- Discuss ways to leverage the power of the Konkani Youth community to drive positive change
- Plant the seeds for lifelong friendships
- Experience everything that the nation's capital has to offer to the fullest
